"Crazy Mayan" Poster

The ski world was filled with films of skiers doing crazier and crazier things. How would we compete with this? The answer was to use a tongue in cheek connection to ancient astronauts and Erich von Däniken's Chariots of the Gods.

I wrote the following caption on the poster:

"Did ancient astronauts visit the Americas around 5,000 B.C., leaving behind an oral tradition of corn planting, bump skiing, and partying?

Are they still among us today?"
