Vintage Ski Movie Ad

All I had to work with were a few black and white frames from the film. I chose this one because its symmetry would support the art deco design of the ad.

I used quad toning in CMYK to add some tinting to the grays.

Leni Reifenstahl later became one of Hitler's chief propagandists. I wrote the headline and chose the design direction to help place the film clearly in its own historic perspective.

The software here was Photoshop and Illustrator.
